Information design using statistics from Unicef about the effect of HIV and AIDS in Africa.
Three posters, the first illustrating the percentage of each country’s population living with HIV and AIDS. The subsequent two posters show the effect this has on the youth of these countries, showing the percentage of children orphaned by the disease as a result, and then the percentage of children living with the disease. Whilst still resembling Africa, the use of circles creates abstract compositions comparable to bacterial growth and DNA structure. Posters produced in Unicef colours, process cyan and yellow.
